The 6️⃣-square-meter kitchen with an old renovation turns into a stunning dinning area with all the conveniences! 🔃🤩 While everyone was skeptical about giving it a second chance, the final outcomes exceeded everyone’s exceptations! 🫢👏 This is one of the most fantastic transformations you have ever seen! 🙌🤩 I will show what it looks like now in this article! 👇
A young couple expecting their first child were determined to renovate every room in their home, leaving only the kitchen untouched. Their space is a compact 6 square meters, a typical size found in older buildings, like the Soviet-era “Khrushchevkas,” where kitchens often range from 4 to 10 square meters. Newer, modern apartments often boast spacious kitchens, but this one needed a creative overhaul.

Before the Renovation:
No range hood or extractor fan
Poorly designed, ineffective lighting
Electrical outlets scattered haphazardly
The fridge was located in the corridor
No space for kitchen appliances
Inefficient kitchen layout
Minimal storage for dishes
An oversized, awkward kitchen table
Missing a door
After the Renovation:
A sleek, frosted glass door was installed.
The walls were painted in bright white for a clean, open feel.
The TV area was framed with colorful, mismatched frames, giving the illusion of a larger space.
The window sill was extended, now functioning as an additional countertop.
A narrow, practical bar counter was added below the TV.
A multifunctional, mobile transformer table made from artificial stone was introduced, offering extra flexibility.
The kitchen layout was redesigned in a “G” shape with lively green and orange cabinet fronts
The same vibrant color scheme was carried through to the backsplash.
Horizontal blinds were added, matching the kitchen’s color scheme with a sleek, compact cornice
Transparent, modern chairs complete the look.
The new design also features:

A larger window sill that now extends along the wall, providing more prep space, while a curved shelf-bar counter adds extra functionality.
The transformer table, made of ‘Staron’ artificial stone, can be folded up and neatly stored under the shelf-bar, saving space when needed. It moves along the wall on a special track, adding both versatility and style.

The TV area is framed with polyurethane frames, enhancing the depth of the space and creating a visual separation
The lighting setup has been optimized, with LED strips above the work area, four ceiling lights for overall illumination, and additional lighting under the windowsill and bar counter
The new tempered glass door brings light from the kitchen window into the previously dark hallway, and it’s also easy to clean. The white walls balance out the bold colors of the kitchen cabinets, while the frosted glass door and matching gray stone countertops maintain a harmonious, light-filled atmosphere. The aluminum window blinds and wood-look linoleum flooring complete the cozy yet practical redesign.
This newly renovated kitchen is not only functional but also inviting, with a cheerful and positive vibe!
