A touching story: this blind dog had a loyal and caring friend who never left him alone

Not even the owner could have predicted how well the two would get together.

This little Staffordshire Bull Terrier has come a long way since birth. Amos, blind from birth, struggled for life, very lonely to have a family or even a friend.

But the compassion pays off, and now she not only has a home for life, but also her own “guide dog” in the person of his best friend, Tabby.

When a member of the fire and rescue service in Cheshire, where Amos was born, decided to look after him, his life changed dramatically.

Jess Martin, who has always loved dogs, fell in love with this sweet soul from the first meeting. So when everyone ignored him because he was blind, Jess decided to take him home as a foster child.

Jess’ only fear was how her dog, Tabby, would react to meeting a new family member.

But even Jess couldn’t predict how well they would go together.

Tabby not only accepted Amos into his domain, but also turned into a guide dog, helping his brother find a bowl of water and explore the environment.

“I figured it would be difficult to find an owner, so we decided to adopt him last February while Amos needed medical attention for 4 months,” Jess explained.

“After a while, we realized we couldn’t get him back.”
