Mario, a zoologist, has devoted twenty-five years to caring for these magnificent creatures. Unfortunately, he was suffering from a terrible disease, but wanted to spend his last days in the company of his beloved creatures, giraffes.
No one really predicted Mario’s reaction when the Ambulance Wish Charity took him to a cage with giraffes at the Diergaard Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam.
The creatures crowded around Mario, sensing that something was wrong with him. The giraffe then began to soothe and kiss the boy who had taken care of them for so many years.
Mario could most likely afford his final hours at the wildlife park where he spent so much passion and love.
