The icon was born in 1946 in EI Centro, California. She had a challenging childhood and her early years were full of struggles and insecurities. The future star was raised by her Bohemian single mother whose name was Georgia Holt.

Despite the difficulties, her passion led her to step into Hollywood already at the age of 16.  Her life completely changed when she met S. Bono with whom she achieved great heights.

Unluckily, their marriage didn’t last ending in 1975. She had to embark a solo career and provided her audience with such songs as «Gypses, Tramps, and Thieves», etc.
