Amazing story: this rescued cat gave birth to her only cute kitten and gave her all her care and love

The cat needed a secure place to give birth in good conditions.

Desiree, a stray cat who was adopted while pregnant, has more than one surprise in store for her caregivers. She gave birth to only one cub, with whom she developed a special relationship.

A homeless cat in the city of Brisbane, located in eastern Australia, was rescued in time. Found on the street alone and pregnant, she was taken to a veterinary clinic who contacted the local association of cat’s best friends.

Named Desiree, she needed a quiet, comfortable and safe place to give birth and raise her offspring in good conditions.

The volunteers haven’t finished their surprises with Desiree yet.

She went into labor much prematurely, and in the end she gave birth to only one baby, a female very similar to her.

Nikki, one of the Best Friends Felines volunteers, noted how rare such a simple pregnancy is in cats.

A kitten named Tato stunned everyone with her large size, including the veterinarians who examined her. The young cat and her mother were placed in the care of Ali’s foster family.

With several baskets and cozy nooks and crannies, Desiree chose to settle down in the lower part of the cat tree, which was far less comfortable. Surely the cat has mastered the opposite art …

As for Tato, she “still remains the fattest child in the world”, their adoptive mother continued. She opened her eyes and became especially talkative. Once she learned to use her paws, she began to explore her surroundings.
