Elinor Donahue has left a remarkable role in the entertainment industry especially after her role as Betty Anderson. This iconic American sitcom was truly a success which became a hit back in those times.
In the series, she portrayed Belly «Princess» Anderson, the elder daughter in the middle-class family living in the Midwest. She has also appeared in «Crossroads» and the «George Burns and Gracia Allen» show.
What concerns her personal life, she first got married at the age of 19 driven by a desire to transition into adulthood. Then, she agreed to marry the person who proposed next and that man became R. Smith with whom she welcomed a son named Brian. However, their marriage lasted 6 years until 1961.
