Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have taken their European trip to another star-studded destination. Following their recent appearance in Venice, the husband-and-wife duo headed to France, joining guests at the Deauville American Film Festival for a screening of The Only Pickpocket in New York.
Nicola, 31, arrived in an elegant white floor-length gown, while 27-year-old Brooklyn opted for a classic black suit with a crisp white shirt and sunglasses. The pair stayed close as they posed together for photographers, presenting a united front amid Brooklyn’s ongoing estrangement from his famous family.

They were also joined on the red carpet by 85-year-old Hollywood legend Faye Dunaway, who stars alongside Nicola in the upcoming film Prima. Nicola plays a ballerina in the project, a physically demanding role for which she underwent a noticeable transformation, while Dunaway portrays her mentor.

Brooklyn and Nicola married in 2022, but speculation about tension between Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham, began around the time of their wedding. One widely discussed issue involved Nicola’s decision to wear a different designer for her bridal gown rather than a creation connected to her mother-in-law, though the circumstances surrounding that decision have been debated.

The family tensions became far more visible last year when Brooklyn and Nicola stopped appearing at major Beckham family gatherings. They also stopped sharing family photos and public birthday messages, and missed celebrations for both of Brooklyn’s parents. After months of speculation, Brooklyn eventually addressed the situation publicly, claiming that he had grown tired of being controlled and accusing his family of caring heavily about maintaining the public image of a close-knit family. He also alleged that his relatives did not accept Nicola and had negatively affected their wedding.

Against that backdrop, Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows on their third wedding anniversary. Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz, conducted the ceremony, while members of Brooklyn’s family were absent. Several months after Brooklyn publicly discussed the dispute, Victoria responded by saying that she and David Beckham had “tried to be the very best parents.”

For now, Brooklyn and Nicola appear focused on their life together. Their latest French appearance comes immediately after another high-profile outing in Venice, with the couple once again walking the red carpet side by side while the distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family continues.
