Carla Bruni has delighted her followers with a rare glimpse of her daughter Giulia Sarkozy, who has just celebrated her 15th birthday. The former supermodel and singer shared a series of personal photographs, and the mother-daughter resemblance quickly became a talking point.
Bruni, who has approximately 1.3 million Instagram followers, marked the special occasion with several pictures of her teenage daughter, including sweet selfies of the two posing together.
Alongside the photographs, the proud mother wrote a touching message: “15 years of happiness with you! Happy birthday, my wonderful, beloved daughter.”
Giulia was born on October 19, 2011, three years after Carla married Nicolas Sarkozy. The couple exchanged vows on February 2, 2008, at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The singer also has an older son, Aurélien, born in 2001 from her previous relationship with French philosopher and television presenter Raphaël Enthoven. Aurélien has since followed his mother’s footsteps into modeling.
Carla’s birthday tribute attracted considerable attention, collecting nearly 13,000 likes within just a few hours. But Giulia is already familiar with social media attention herself.
At only 15, the teenager has an Instagram account with approximately 124,000 followers and has shared 137 posts offering glimpses into her personal interests and family life.
Among those photographs is an image of Giulia with her father, Nicolas Sarkozy, following his release from prison.

The 71-year-old former French president was sentenced to five years in prison on September 25, 2025, after being convicted of criminal conspiracy in a case involving alleged Libyan financing connected to his 2007 presidential campaign.
He was provisionally released approximately three weeks after beginning his sentence. Shortly afterward, Giulia shared a photograph with him, adding the caption: “Long live freedom.”

However, most of the teenager’s social media activity focuses on a much quieter passion: horses.
Giulia frequently shares photographs and videos of her horse, Valentine, openly expressing the special bond she shares with the animal.
