One picture immediately stood out. They were photographed smiling side by side during what appeared to be a celebratory family dinner. Arnold sat in front of a slice of cake topped with a sparkler, while Maria posed beside him. Katherine wrapped an arm around her mother from behind as Patrick and Christina gathered around them. Katherine did not reveal what they were celebrating or when the picture was taken, although Arnold celebrated his 79th birthday on July 30. The pair tied the knot in 1986 and went on to raise four children together: Katherine, Christina, Patrick and Christopher Schwarzenegger. Their relationship came to an end in 2011, when Maria began divorce proceedings, though the legal process was not completed until December 2021. The split followed the revelation that Arnold had a son, Joseph Baena, now 28, with Mildred Baena during his marriage to Maria.
