Charlize Theron gave followers a heartfelt surprise on Mother’s Day by posting an intimate collection of nostalgic family photos. The rarely shared snapshots featured her adopted daughters, Jackson and August, capturing tender everyday memories and private moments far removed from the spotlight and red-carpet glamour.
The emotional post immediately attracted attention online, especially because the Oscar-winning actress rarely reveals much about her private world.
“The greatest honor of my life! Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, grandmothers and godmothers,” Charlize wrote alongside the photos.
The pictures showed the actress spending time with her children through different stages of their lives. Fans were especially shocked by how much the kids have grown. Jackson is now 14 years old, while Augusta recently turned 11.
Charlize adopted Jackson in 2012. Several years later, the actress publicly revealed that her child identifies as a girl after asking to be referred to that way. In 2019, Theron openly confirmed that Jackson is transgender and explained that she supports her child’s identity and personal choices, including feminine clothing and hairstyles.
