A dog named Corporal Oliveira was found on the street by Rio de Janeiro police officer Cristiano Oliveira in 2019. The man saw a dirty, injured and starving dog lying near the station, and could not pass by.

When Cristiano shared a photo of the corporal on social media. He has won thousands of fans around the world. The dog now has its own account, where new photos and videos regularly appear.
“If I don’t post a photo within three days, people will start asking: where is Oliveira? Where is Oliveira?” – smiling, said the owner of the dog.
There are currently 117,000 people following Corporal Oliveira’s social media accounts, and the number continues to grow every day.
