Billie is a Florida Labrador puppy who doesn’t like being left alone.

When her owner, Anna Love, first adopted Billie, she noticed that the dog was experiencing some anxiety.

Over time, she realized that her wonderful dog actually had not just regular anxiety, but a complete split of stress and anxiety.

Billie gets along great with other people and pets, but she can’t stand being left alone.

At first, Anna tried to give her a teddy bear to comfort her, but Billie’s stress and anxiety were still too much.

To help Billie, Anna adopted Gus, another Labrador who was more than happy to be around Billie.

Gus is a younger dog, and Anna was initially worried that these two wouldn’t work out either.

Introducing pets that are unfamiliar with each other can sometimes fail.

There was also the threat that Gus would certainly get himself into his share of trouble as well as trouble.

As Anna discusses with Metro:

“We wanted her to have a cozy buddy that she felt safe with… We were stressed that Gus wouldn’t be as wonderful or nice as Billie, or that he wouldn’t like her. The reality is that he loves her more than I or my partner could imagine”.

Bringing Gus home changed Billie’s life.

Now, thanks to the support of her younger brother, Billie is a much happier puppy.

Because Gus is the soothing being in Billie’s life, her separating stress and anxiety is gone.

Anna and her husband noticed that Billie is now much calmer and does not want as much attention as before.

Before Gus came along, it was hard for Anna to do a job or do anything other than her beloved dog.

She may be a bit more independent nowadays, as Billie has actually become less dependent on her.

The two are now friends for life!

Billie and Gus have a great relationship and are also adorable together.

They have a habit of falling asleep with their arms around each other: Billie is the big spoon and Gus is the little spoon.

As they age and also expand, their relationship will remain unwavering anchors in this wild world.
