To celebrate his 50th birthday, the football icon decided to revisit a look from his younger days: a super-short buzz cut. But instead of recapturing the past, Beckham’s solo haircut attempt left him with a patchy, uneven mess… and an unexpected surprise.
It all started when he chose to skip the barber and take matters into his own hands. Armed with a trimmer and confidence, David underestimated how tricky even a “simple” haircut could be. When he shared his new look online, the reactions were brutal. Even Victoria Beckham, usually reserved in public, didn’t hold back.

And the worst part? Victoria noticed something else — a noticeably thinning patch on David’s crown. The accidental buzz job had revealed signs of balding he might not have wanted the world to see just yet.
Still, Victoria chose not to dwell on the haircut — or the hair loss. She hinted there are bigger issues troubling their family. According to The Sun, tensions with their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have reached a breaking point. The rift reportedly began over three years ago and came to a head this spring, when Brooklyn skipped both Victoria’s Mother’s Day and David’s milestone birthday — while publicly praising his mother-in-law instead.
Right now, communication between the two sides has all but stopped. And while David may laugh off a bad haircut, this family divide is cutting far deeper.
