The 61-year-old actress received a prestigious award for her acting achievements and took the opportunity to briefly address her ex-husband’s condition.

Appearing at the event in a chic yet understated ensemble, Demi opted for a sleek black blazer paired with a long grey skirt. Her signature long hair was left flowing, and her makeup was done to enhance her natural beauty with a touch of glamour.

When she accepted her award, Demi touched on what has been weighing on everyone’s minds: Bruce Willis’ health. She reassured the audience that the actor’s condition is stable at the moment, mentioning that she still stays in close contact with him and their family.

Demi also shared that just two days prior, she had visited Bruce along with their only granddaughter, Luetta. “As I’ve said before, illness is what it is, and it’s important to come to terms with that. Bruce is stable right now,” she noted, adding a heartfelt message about acceptance.

The actress urged people to let go of expectations and past memories, encouraging them to embrace loved ones for who they are in the present. “Clinging to the past or what used to be will only lead to disappointment,” Demi said thoughtfully.

Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a condition that has affected his ability to communicate and control movement. Earlier this year, his family voiced their concern about how much time they may have left with him, as his health continues to decline.
