Demi Moore Turns Heads at Cannes in Strapless Polka-Dot Dress as Hollywood Icon Joins Festival Jury

The Cannes Film Festival has officially begun, and one of the first stars to steal attention on opening day was Demi Moore. The Hollywood actress appeared at the festival’s opening press conference and photocall, where all eyes immediately turned toward her bold and elegant look.

For the first official event of this year’s festival, the 63-year-old actress stepped out in a strapless polka-dot dress from Jacquemus. The colorful outfit was paired with a matching handbag featuring the same playful print, creating one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the day.

Demi completed the look with classic low-heeled pumps and oversized sunglasses, adding a touch of old Hollywood glamour while still keeping the styling modern and relaxed.

This year’s Cannes appearance is especially significant for the actress because she is serving as one of the festival jury members. Over the next 12 days, Moore will help decide which films receive the festival’s top honors, including the prestigious Palme d’Or.

The jury lineup also includes major international names such as director Park Chan-wook, filmmaker Chloé Zhao, Diego Céspedes, actress Ruth Negga, screenwriter Paul Laverty, actor Isaac de Bankolé and Stellan Skarsgård.

The festival has already started attracting stars from around the world. Actor Mark Eydelshteyn also arrived in Cannes with the film “The Becoming of Kappa” directed by Charlotte Colbert, where he plays the leading role.

In recent years, Demi Moore’s career has experienced a major revival. Last year, she received her first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Actress thanks to her performance in “The Substance.” The role also earned her a Golden Globe award and brought her back into the center of Hollywood conversation.

Several new projects starring the actress are currently in development, confirming that her professional comeback shows no signs of slowing down.

At the same time, Moore continues to face emotional challenges in her personal life. Her former husband Bruce Willis has been battling dementia, and the actress remains closely connected to him and their family. Together with their daughters — Rumer, Scout and Tallulah — she regularly visits the actor as his condition reportedly continues to worsen.

Three years ago, Demi also entered a new chapter of life when she became a grandmother after her eldest daughter welcomed a baby girl named Louetta.
