Donald and Melania Trump celebrated Halloween in festive style, welcoming hundreds of excited children for an evening filled with candy, colorful costumes and a few unexpected moments.
A huge line of families formed outside the presidential residence as young visitors eagerly waited for their chance to meet the couple and collect their Halloween treats.
The Trumps personally greeted the children, handing out oversized chocolate bars and posing for photographs during the approximately hour-long celebration.
Although Halloween is famous for its elaborate costumes, Donald and Melania decided to skip the disguises and stick to their signature elegant style.
Donald appeared in a classic dark navy suit with a bright blue tie, while Melania embraced autumn fashion in a sophisticated dark brown suede coat.
Her long coat featured a belt that accentuated her waist, and she completed the outfit with matching high heels.
The festive decorations were considerably more extravagant than the couple’s clothing.
Dozens of pumpkins surrounded the entrance, while climbing ivy and an enormous artificial moon created a dramatic Halloween atmosphere.
A military band provided live entertainment, performing familiar seasonal tunes as families made their way through the decorated grounds.
The children arrived in an impressive variety of costumes, transforming the celebration into a colorful parade of familiar characters.
Among the young visitors were children dressed as Barbie, Tigger from Winnie-the-Pooh, Batman and even the Founding Fathers of the United States.

As the band played the famous theme from Ghostbusters, Donald surprised onlookers by briefly moving to the rhythm.
The lighthearted dance added a playful moment to the celebration, which had already featured plenty of costumes, decorations and sweet treats.
After spending approximately an hour with the families, Donald and Melania said goodbye to their guests and returned inside the residence.
