When they adopted the dog, they thought Ranger had a parasite called Coccidia.

The vet actually suspected that the dog had pituitary dwarfism, but the owners didn’t believe that opinion because it was a very rare genetic disease.

Ranger had no appetite and hair loss. One follower of the dog’s owner told him on Instagram that the dog might be suffering from pituitary gland disease.

It was proven that the dog actually had a rare mutation.

Despite her genetic condition, Ranger is a very happy and lucky dog. He loves to mess around and play with other puppies.

Obviously, he won’t live as long as other dogs, but we’re sure he’s already happy, surrounded by caring people.
