A man from Venezuela has stunned people across the globe with a transformation unlike any other — and it was all inspired by his young son’s love for superheroes.
Henry Rodriguez, a 37-year-old tattoo artist, didn’t just change his look — he reshaped his entire face. Driven by his son’s admiration for a fictional superhero, Henry went through a series of extreme body modifications to resemble the character as closely as possible.
His journey included multiple surgeries, tattoos, and even the removal of parts of his ears and nose. He also had ink injected into his eyeballs and added implants to reshape his forehead and brow area.
While the process was incredibly painful, Henry says it was worth every moment. He views the suffering as a necessary part of achieving his vision — becoming a hero in his son’s eyes.
“I just want him to see me as more than his dad,” Henry shared. “I want him to see a superhero when he looks at me.”
His transformation started with eye tattoos and continued through 15 surgical procedures, totaling around £27,000. The most extreme of these was the removal of part of his nose to match the look of the comic book figure that inspired him.
Asked how he would react if his son wanted to follow a similar path in the future, Henry replied with understanding but caution: “I’d tell him to take his time and make sure it’s truly what he wants. Big decisions like these shouldn’t be rushed.”
