Good story: a caring woman stopped and got out of the car to save a dog which was left alone during a storm

On the way home, a woman stumbled upon a trembling stray dog.

A woman caring for a stray puppy who was freezing to death on a Texas highway used tortillas to keep her puppy warm and fed.

Christine Salinas went grocery shopping with her family in mind. On the way home, she came across a trembling stray dog. To save him, Christine used her newly purchased tortillas from the store.

Even though the woman made a path of tortillas for the dog to walk to her car, the dog was still wary of the man. Kristin refused to give up when she couldn’t attract him with cakes for over 30 minutes and tried to save him. After a short wait, a frightened Labrador came up to Christine’s car and climbed into the back seat.

“We’re trying to help the dogs understand what’s going on”, Christine explained to Fox San Antonio. Helping animals in need is a worthy cause, and I hope that everyone will contribute. She told local media that this is not the first time she has saved a dog in need. She often helps abandoned animals on the streets.

The woman took the dog home and did her best to keep her warm so she could sleep peacefully. If she can’t find the dog’s owners the next day, she intends to find her a home with the help of the Animal Welfare Center.
