It seems that motherhood has not diminished Rachel’s talent.
Rachel Wooding is a musical theater artist from Yorkshire. She performed a flawless version of “With You” from Ghost the Musical as part of her British Got Talent audition. The performance showed off her vocal abilities as well as her perfect breath power.
Wooding attended Byrd College of the Performing Arts and performed on stage from an early age. She played in musicals such as “Cats” and “Star Express” in Germany. She also landed the title role on Evita the Musical’s UK tour.
Despite her experience, Rachel was tense during the performance. She explained that she sang for the first time since the birth of her child. Viewers could tell that “mommy brain” had an effect on her as soon as she pulled the pacifier out of her back pocket.
The unanimous decision of the four members of the jury was to send her to the next stage. Simon Cowell said that her performance was the perfect take on a song he had ever heard and some of the audience were moved. It seems that motherhood has not diminished Rachel’s talent.
