Heidi Klum stepped out in Los Angeles with someone fans don’t get to see nearly as often — her youngest daughter, Lou. The 16-year-old has largely stayed away from the spotlight despite growing up with two internationally famous parents, making the mother-daughter sighting an especially rare one.
Heidi and Lou were photographed grabbing coffee and running errands together, but even their casual outing turned into a stylish affair. The 53-year-old supermodel opted for an all-black look, pairing loose leather pants with a knit top and another leather layer.
Heidi also brought along an especially adorable companion. Her dog Fritz traveled comfortably inside a bag hanging from her shoulder as the group made their way around Los Angeles.
Lou kept her outfit relaxed, choosing an oversized gray shirt with black pants and jewelry. She wore her long curly hair loose and added subtle makeup, offering a rare look at just how grown up Heidi’s youngest daughter has become.
Lou is one of the four children Heidi shares with her former husband Seal. The exes are also parents to Leni, 22, Henry, 20, and Johan, 19. Heidi has since married musician Tom Kaulitz, and she has previously praised him for the way he involved her children in their relationship from the beginning.
Before proposing, Tom secretly asked Heidi’s children for their blessing and worked with them to plan the Christmas morning surprise. Heidi later described the gesture as one of the sweetest things he had ever done for her because he made sure her children were part of such an important moment.
Although Lou generally prefers a private life, she has inherited at least one of her mother’s most famous passions: Halloween. Heidi once revealed that of her four children, Lou is the one who truly shares her enthusiasm for elaborate transformations, recalling how the teen once went all-out as an anime character with full makeup, hair and accessories.
