Hero of the Guinness Book of Records: a unique three-headed calf, born in Saskatchewan

The journey of this three -headed calf to the world is truly unique.

During the reproduction season, it was just another day on the farm of Gordon Willner to the west of Davidson. The calf was watched since his mother was pregnant, and on the day when she was born, it became clear that everything went wrong. Willner restlessly put his hand inside the cow and felt one, then two heads. He suggested that they were twins.

Arriving Dr. Olaf Lipro, the chief veterinarian of the University of Saskatchewan, found that it was a calf with two heads, not twins. He decided to conduct an emergency cesarean section to the cow-mother, which, fortunately, went smoothly!

Lipro conducted an operation in the cow after the introduction of local anesthesia. He grabbed the second hind leg and attached it to the calf chain before pulling a lot, but the calf refused to move. They needed to act quickly, because the time for the safe extraction of the calf expired. Lipro pulled the shackles with all his might. And he did not believe his eyes when he saw: a three -headed calf!

All are puzzled and shocked by the birth of a calf!

Davidson, March 25. The Guinness Book of Records and the organization of Ripley “Do you want to believe, you want not” visited Davidson last Monday to confirm the birth of a three -headed calf. This is, without a doubt, the most unique calf you have ever seen!

This is a miracle from God, admire the uniqueness of this calf!
