After saving a Husky from drowning, this man has been hailed as a hero.
Not all heroes wear capes, they always have a generous heart, and this Amazon driver is no exception. John Casabria was hailed as a hero after his eldest husky drowned.
For John, it was just another day at work. A strange noise caught the young man’s attention as he was carrying things along his usual route in Woburn, Massachusetts.
John assumed that something was wrong, so he went to investigate. He described it as “something like a sea urchin attack combined with a howl, like the wind howling through the branches of a tree”.
A strange noise was coming from the yard, so the driver, without hesitation, climbed over the fence to check what was happening. The man quickly realized that the dog was in serious need of help and felt he had to act. Husky struggled to get out of the pool.
John immediately set to work and saved the day. He just climbed over the gate, dived into the pool and saved the drowning dog.
At first, the hero was confused because he thought that almost all dogs can swim, but then he discovered that the dog he had just rescued was a 14-year-old senior husky in a bone condition.
