“Who needs a fancy restaurant when you can whip up tiramisu at home?” ☕🍫 This light, creamy Italian classic with a kick of coffee and cocoa is easier than you think — and the result looks divine. See the simple recipe in the article below 👇📸
Tiramisu is one of those desserts that melts in your mouth — creamy, airy, with the richness of coffee and just a touch of cocoa bitterness. Making it at home is far easier than it looks, and the result is sure to impress your family and guests.
Ingredients:
-
200 g ladyfinger biscuits
-
500 g mascarpone cheese
-
200 ml strong coffee
-
2 tbsp Amaretto liqueur (optional)
-
4 eggs
-
100 g powdered sugar
-
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Method:
-
Brew strong coffee and let it cool. Stir in the Amaretto if you’re using it.
-
Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with powdered sugar until pale and fluffy, then fold in the mascarpone until smooth.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the mascarpone cream.
-
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and arrange in a single layer at the bottom of your dish. The dessert should be about 5–7 cm tall once layered.
-
Spread half the cream evenly over the biscuits, then repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the rest of the cream.
-
Dust the top generously with cocoa powder.
-
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, ideally overnight.
✨ Fun tip: you can customize your tiramisu by adding grated chocolate, crushed nuts, or fresh berries on top for extra flavor and decoration.
This dessert is best served chilled, but let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing so it’s perfectly creamy.
