On the other hand, the cheeky little devils didn’t seem to give up and kept coming back to have fun with his tail.

In the end, he gave up and went somewhere in search of solitude.

Ingo Gerlach, a 66-year-old German photographer, captured the funny moment on video in the Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

“There were 3 mothers and about 8 babies,” he recalls the sight.

They were about six weeks old at the time.

“A little later we saw a male lion”. He was the only inactive member of the lion family. He dozed on the edge of the thicket, having no desire to take care of the family.

At some point, the mischievous lion cubs noticed their father’s fluffy tail. They played with him for several minutes before the father threatened them with his licked fangs.

“It worked for about five seconds, but then the cubs wanted to play with the extremely fluffy tail end again”.
