Irina Shayk has traded the Fashion Week spotlight for some precious mother-daughter time in Italy. The 40-year-old supermodel was photographed enjoying a relaxed getaway in picturesque Portofino with her nine-year-old daughter, Lea.
After recently appearing on the covers of Vogue Arabia and making several runway appearances during Milan Fashion Week, Shayk decided not to continue on to the shows in Paris. Instead, she headed to the Ligurian coast, where she has been spending time with Lea and friends.
Photographers spotted the mother and daughter strolling through Portofino after having lunch at the restaurant I Gemelli. Their contrasting outfits immediately caught attention, with Irina embracing a romantic, summery look while Lea opted for something much more casual and cozy.
Shayk wore a pink lace-trimmed slip dress layered with a white top and white lace shorts. She completed the ensemble with sunglasses, a Hermès Kelly bag and simple black ballet flats.
Lea, meanwhile, kept comfortable in wide-leg jeans and an oversized checked jacket, finishing her look with pink Crocs. The pair appeared relaxed as they walked together through the famous Italian seaside destination.
It’s not the first time Irina and Lea have been spotted enjoying a trip together. The mother-daughter duo have previously vacationed in Miami and Morocco, offering occasional glimpses of their close relationship.
Shayk welcomed Lea in 2017 with Bradley Cooper, whom she began dating in 2015. The couple separated when their daughter was two, but they have continued to co-parent and are regularly reunited for Lea’s school events and celebrations.
Cooper has been dating Gigi Hadid for the past three years, and Hadid has already met Lea. Meanwhile, Shayk has largely kept her own romantic life private and recently said that she still believes she will find true love.
For now, however, Irina appears perfectly happy stepping away from the fashion frenzy for a few days — swapping Paris runways for Portofino sunshine and quality time with her daughter.
