It’s really touching: the camera shows how a beautiful dog comforts a crying child with his favorite toy

The dog showed his family why he is known as the gentle giant.

This young couple from England had no idea how their dog would react when they had to bring their newborn daughter home.

However, in the weeks leading up to the event, they managed to train Tommy, a beautiful Doberman Pinscher, by throwing baby clothes around the house.

This way the dog would get used to its smell. But as soon as the opportunity presented itself, Tommy showed his family why he is known as the gentle giant!

The parents explained, “We let him smell her worn out clothes and told him to behave”. “After that, we invited Macie, who was naturally curious and affectionate”.

Tommy’s instincts kicked in the moment he saw Macie, his little sister, and he became concerned about protecting the baby!

Nick told THE DODO: “He’s always been so gentle and sensitive – it must have been a natural inclination”.

“He seemed to take her in right away, like he always wanted to be near her but never touched her”.

Since Tommy was always polite to everyone, Nick Elliott and his wife had no doubts about Tommy’s reaction when he met his sister.

Even they couldn’t predict Tommy’s reaction, and he amazed them all.

Macie cried in her highchair while her mother prepared a bottle in the kitchen.

In the end, Tommy, who was alone in the room with his sister, decided to take matters into his own hands.

He simply took his favorite toy, a teddy bear, and gave it to his grieving sister in the hope that it would bring her comfort.

The baby monitor captured the wonderful moment and the parents couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw it.

“After my wife found the soft toy in her bag, we went back to the camera and saw what he did,” the father explained. “His little tail wagging just made a deal!”
