Kanye West and Bianca Censori have once again left onlookers doing a double take. The 49-year-old rapper and his 31-year-old wife stepped out in Los Angeles wearing outfits better suited to freezing winter temperatures — despite the city experiencing heat approaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38°C).
The couple were photographed on Sunday after enjoying a quiet movie date in Westwood. While most people were dressing for the unusually hot weather, Kanye and Bianca appeared completely unfazed by the soaring temperatures, choosing dramatic outerwear that immediately attracted attention.
Bianca made the biggest fashion statement in a floor-length black leather trench coat with a glossy finish. The striking garment featured structured shoulders, oversized lapels, long sleeves and a belt emphasizing her waist. Underneath, she wore a black hooded top and fitted leggings, keeping her entire outfit in dark tones.
The Australian architect completed her look with dark brown knee-high stiletto boots and oversized rectangular sunglasses with amber-tinted lenses. The combination created a mysterious, almost futuristic appearance, although her heavy leather coat seemed particularly unexpected in the scorching California sunshine.
Kanye followed a similar approach, opting for a beige hooded bomber jacket featuring a thick fur-trimmed hood. He paired the oversized outerwear with off-white trousers and chunky tan combat boots, creating a coordinated look that was just as surprising given the weather.
Their unusual outing came just one day after the couple attended ComplexCon in Los Angeles alongside Kanye’s 13-year-old daughter, North West. The teenager also attracted attention with her edgy all-black outfit and bright blue braids, making the trio’s rare public appearance a major talking point.
Kanye later took the stage during Playboi Carti’s headlining performance, surprising the audience with three songs: “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Carnival” and “Off the Grid.” The appearance gave fans another glimpse of the rapper’s return to public performances.
While Bianca frequently makes headlines for her unconventional wardrobe, she has also become an increasingly visible presence in Kanye’s family life. She has been photographed spending time with his four children — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — whom he shares with former wife Kim Kardashian.
In August, Bianca was spotted enjoying a shopping trip with Chicago and her cousin Dream Kardashian at a Los Angeles mall. She has also spent time with North on several occasions, including a July shopping outing with Kanye. The two have previously been photographed holding hands, chatting and smiling together at public events.
Kanye has openly praised Bianca’s relationship with his children, once describing her as an amazing stepmother. Bianca has also defended his role as a father, saying in a 2026 interview that he makes an effort to spend meaningful time with his children despite his demanding schedule.
The couple have even discussed the possibility of having children together. However, Bianca has suggested that they would prefer to raise a future family somewhere outside Los Angeles because of the intense media attention surrounding their lives.
For now, though, it is their latest fashion statement that has everyone talking. With temperatures climbing toward 100 degrees, Kanye and Bianca’s decision to step out in heavy jackets, leather and fur-trimmed outerwear proved that the couple are still determined to follow their own fashion rules — whatever the weather.
