Lady Gaga has officially entered an entirely new chapter of her life. The 40-year-old superstar and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, 42, have become parents, and Gaga has now been photographed out with their newborn for the first time.
The couple was spotted enjoying a quiet walk in Northern California with their first child. Gaga carried the baby close to her chest in a carrier, while Michael walked beside her dressed casually in shorts, a hoodie, cap and flip-flops.
In the new pictures, Gaga appears particularly protective of the newborn, gently keeping one hand over the baby as the family makes its way through the area. The rare sighting offers one of the first glimpses of the couple adjusting to their new life as parents.
The singer has maintained a relatively low profile in recent months after wrapping up her “Mayhem Ball” tour in April. Long before welcoming her baby, however, Gaga had spoken openly about how much she wanted to experience motherhood.
In March 2025, she revealed that she was looking forward to becoming a mother, although the prospect had previously made her nervous. Gaga explained that one of the things that mattered most to her was allowing her future children the freedom to discover their own identities and choose their own paths.

Gaga and Polansky first publicly confirmed their relationship in 2020. Their romance later became more serious, with Polansky eventually proposing to the singer. Now, the couple has taken another major step together as they begin life with their first child.
