No advance notice. No grand announcement. Meghan and Harry touched down in Jordan for a two-day humanitarian mission, joining forces with the Director-General of the World Health Organization during the visit.
During the trip, the couple participated in a WHO roundtable discussion as part of their official engagement in the Middle East. Meghan opted for a polished monochrome look — a cream double-breasted tweed blazer paired with a simple top and wide-leg trousers in a matching tone. The neutral palette gave her appearance a clean, understated finish.

After the roundtable, they visited the youth center inside a refugee camp, where they met with young people participating in educational programs. Later, they joined the WHO delegation at a specialized hospital in Amman. There, they met a 14-year-old girl from Gaza who is being treated for burn injuries.

Their surprise appearance represents one of the earliest overseas journeys they’ve taken as a pair since their trips to Nigeria in May 2024 and Colombia in August 2024.

Their Middle East appearance comes just days after news broke that Harry’s uncle, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, had been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in connection with an investigation related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Despite the headlines circulating in the UK, Meghan and Harry’s focus during their Jordan trip remained centered on humanitarian engagement — from policy discussions to direct visits with patients and displaced youth.

The photos tell a story of quiet diplomacy.
And once again, the couple chose to step forward — even when the backdrop was anything but calm.
