Meghan Markle surprised followers with a deeply nostalgic post celebrating eight years of marriage to Prince Harry, sharing a collection of rare photos from their lavish royal wedding that instantly reignited conversation online.
The Duchess of Sussex posted intimate behind-the-scenes moments from the historic 2018 ceremony at Windsor Castle, including romantic snapshots of her and Harry dancing, kissing and celebrating together away from the formal cameras.
“Eight years ago today,” Meghan wrote simply beneath the emotional collection of images.
The newly shared photos offered fans a much more personal look at one of the most talked-about weddings in modern royal history. Some of the images captured private moments between the couple during the reception, while others showed the glamorous atmosphere surrounding the event that once captivated millions around the world.
One of the most unforgettable details from the wedding was the performance by Elton John, who sang for the newlyweds during the celebration following the official ceremony.
Meghan, already known internationally as a successful actress before joining the royal family, married Prince Harry on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.
