The 73-year-old actor has recently found himself surrounded by reports of serious financial trouble, including claims that he lost the apartment he had been renting in LA.
Earlier this year, news broke that the actor had allegedly fallen behind on rent payments, with the reported debt climbing to nearly 60 thousand dollars. The situation quickly exploded online after a fundraising campaign appeared claiming to help Rourke pay off the money. The actor strongly denied any involvement and publicly slammed the fundraiser as a scam, even warning of possible legal action against the people behind it.
According to American tabloids, the star is currently believed to be staying at a hotel following the reported eviction.
Despite the personal turmoil, Rourke appears determined not to disappear from public life. The actor has already returned to work and was recently photographed at Los Angeles airport after flying back from Utah, where he had reportedly been filming a new project titled “Sol Hershowitz’s Guide to Extraterrestrial Life.” In the production, he is said to play a conspiracy theorist.

Rourke stepped out in a tight light-blue T-shirt paired with classic jeans and a wide vintage-style belt featuring a large buckle. He completed the look with heavy ankle boots and several eye-catching accessories, including silver cross necklaces and a blue bandana tied around his neck.
The actor carried a plaid shirt over one arm while holding his smallest dog in the other hand. Two more dogs walked beside him on leashes as he made his way through the city streets.
Even after weeks filled with headlines about debt, eviction and uncertainty, the Hollywood veteran seemed calm and focused on his pets during the outing — though the latest photos have once again fueled discussion about the difficult chapter he appears to be facing.
