Natalie Portman, 44, is preparing to become a mother for the third time, confirming her pregnancy in an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar. The acclaimed actress revealed she is expecting a baby with her 45-year-old partner, musician Tanguy Destable, sharing her emotional reaction to the news.
“We are very happy. I feel immense gratitude and understand that this is a true miracle,” Portman said, opening up about this new chapter in her life.

The actress also reflected on how deeply aware she is of the challenges surrounding motherhood. She noted that her father is a reproductive doctor, which has given her a unique perspective on fertility and timing. “I grew up hearing about the difficulties of conception. I have so many close people who went through very serious struggles,” she explained. “This is an incredibly joyful moment, but also a very responsible one.”
Portman added that this pregnancy feels familiar compared to her previous experiences, describing it as relatively smooth so far. “I have more energy than I expected,” she said, also sharing that she continues to stay active through swimming and Pilates to maintain her well-being.
When it comes to cravings, the actress mentioned a simple preference this time around, favoring tropical fruits such as pineapple and melon.

Natalie Portman shares two children with her former husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied—their son Aleph, now 14, and their daughter Amalia, who is 9. After more than a decade together, their relationship came to an end in 2024, following allegations of unfaithfulness that led to their split.
Her relationship with Tanguy Destable became public last year, marking a new phase in her personal life after a difficult period of change and transition.
Recently, Portman also made headlines in the fashion world after being announced as the new face of Tiffany & Co., further cementing her status as both a Hollywood icon and a global style figure.
