Fortunately, there are kind people who think about animals with flaws.

Like this huge turtle that can’t keep its 70 kg body on its feet. Sulcata’s 11-year-old tortoise named George was rescued by Jaime Lebener. The turtle was born with a leg disability called metabolic bone disease.

So, he has an imbalance of calcium and phosphorus. George is especially hard because his body weighs 70 pounds.

He barely used his front legs to pull himself forward. Given that turtles live up to 100 years, it’s not easy for George to keep moving.

Luckily, a solution has been found! There is a Walkin’ Pets group that helps the aging and retired get well. So when Jaime found out that another turtle had been given a special wheelchair due to a leg disability, she contacted them as well.

The organization helped the dog for good luck. They made a special wheelchair that made it easier for George to walk.
