Prince William and Kate Middleton were joined by two of their children for a fresh royal appearance in Scotland, where several prominent members of the family came together for a Sunday church service.
William and Kate brought two of their three children along for the Scottish outing, with 13-year-old George and eight-year-old Louis joining their parents at Crathie Kirk. Charlotte, meanwhile, was not seen in the images taken during the occasion.
William drove the family to the church, with Kate and the boys accompanying him in their Range Rover. The appearance offered a relatively uncommon glimpse of George and Louis taking part in a wider royal gathering with their parents.
The church gathering brought together several other members of the royal family as well. Charles and Camilla made their way there in a separate car, while Anne was joined by Timothy Laurence. Edward attended with his wife Sophie and their daughter, Lady Louise.
The Scottish gathering comes as fresh attention surrounds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following reports suggesting they could eventually relocate to the United Kingdom with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple have not confirmed plans for such a move or publicly explained what might prompt one.
Among the possibilities raised in reports is a desire to spend more time closer to King Charles and other members of the extended family. Any potential return would mark a significant change for Harry and Meghan after years of building their lives in the United States.
At the same time, questions continue to surround Harry’s relationship with William. Reports have repeatedly suggested that the brothers have yet to fully repair their differences, although neither has publicly addressed the latest claims.
Against that backdrop, Sunday’s outing put the focus firmly on the royals gathered in Scotland. With Charles, Camilla and several other family members attending, the appearance also gave royal watchers a rare opportunity to see George and Louis joining their parents for the occasion.
