Rihanna is now the proud owner of a massive 40th-floor penthouse in Los Angeles’ prestigious Century building, thanks to a lavish gift from her partner, A$AP Rocky. The stunning apartment, valued at $21 million, features breathtaking views and luxurious amenities, making it the perfect space for the growing family.
Since 2014, Rihanna has called The Century home, one of the city’s most exclusive and expensive residences. However, with her family expanding—she recently welcomed a new baby and is anticipating the arrival of her second child—Rihanna found her current 3,500-square-foot, three-bedroom space a bit too cramped for her and her entourage.
To solve this issue, A$AP Rocky surprised Rihanna with the purchase of a sprawling penthouse covering the entire 40th floor. The massive 9,000-square-foot property boasts custom features and panoramic views that stretch across the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, the Los Angeles skyline, and even snow-covered Mount Baldy.
The apartment was previously owned by Nick Molnar, the billionaire co-founder of Afterpay, who had listed it for $28 million. However, Rihanna negotiated a price drop, reportedly leveraging the imminent mansion tax to close the deal just before the new tax came into effect in April.
The penthouse includes a spacious living room featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a dining area with dark hardwood floors, and a sleek all-white kitchen complete with marble countertops, dual islands, and high-end appliances. For entertainment, there’s a soundproof movie theater and a luxurious master suite with a curved bedroom design, dual bathrooms, custom closets, and a private lounge.
Four outdoor terraces surround the condo, offering panoramic views of some of L.A.’s most iconic sights. The property also comes with access to premium amenities, such as a 24-hour personal assistant service, security personnel, an outdoor pool, beautifully landscaped gardens, on-premises storage, and more. The monthly HOA fee for the penthouse is $8,814, but with the lavish perks, it’s clear that Rihanna’s new home is more than just a place to live—it’s a sanctuary.
