For the occasion, Johansson stepped onto the carpet in a gray Prada mohair minidress featuring a boat neckline and draped detailing around the waist. She completed the look with silver stiletto sandals and a small pink Prada handbag, adding a subtle splash of color to the otherwise understated outfit.
Her 44-year-old husband coordinated with her without matching too obviously. The “Saturday Night Live” writer wore a checked suit in muted tones that complemented Scarlett’s gray ensemble as the couple posed together for photographers.
The appearance was particularly notable because Johansson and Jost have not been seen together at many public events recently. The pair generally keep their marriage and family life relatively private despite both having high-profile careers.
Johansson’s new crime drama, directed by James Gray, follows brothers Harry and Isaac as they chase their version of the American dream. Their ambitions take a dangerous turn when their families become threatened by the Russian mafia, drawing them into a world of violence and corruption. The film previously had its world premiere at the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
Johansson and Jost began dating in 2017 and married three years later. In 2021, they welcomed their son, Cosmo. The actress is also mother to daughter Rose from her previous marriage to French journalist Romain Dauriac. Earlier in her career, Johansson was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 until 2011.
This time, however, it was Scarlett and Colin’s rare red-carpet appearance that attracted attention — with the actress’s leg-baring mini providing an unexpectedly playful twist to their coordinated date-night style.
