Fans were frightened when the singer suffered a fall during his performance in Amsterdam on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Despite falling on stage he quickly got back up and continued the show.
During his performance at Johan Cruyff Arena, while performing, the singer wanted to climb the stairs which lead to the stage, however, he made a mistake and took a careless step and fell. Fans were left worried.
While donning a stylish ensemble consisting of slim-fitting black jeans and a button-up shirt, Springsteen’s attempt to bear the weight of his guitar took an unfortunate turn, leading to an awkward stumble that culminated in a fall onto his back. However, the singer quickly got up which left the fans shocked.
Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the event. The video was shared online and it spread rapidly.
The singer made a joke about his fall when he got back up and said “Goodnight everybody” as though the concert came to an end. However, when he proceeded to continue to play, that gave fans comfort and understanding that his injuries were not that serious.
One of the fans said: “Thank goodness nothing happened to Bruce Springsteen when he fell on stage last night,” via CNN.
Meanwhile the other added: “He just laughed it off and delivered a fantastic gig to us all”.
Despite the terrifying event, the singer plans to continue his world tour. He will be traveling to many different places, and he will wrap up his tour in December in San Francisco.
The 73-year-old amazes his fans and everyone else with how he manages to perform at this age, and you just think to yourself that age is just a number.
In an interview with Tim McGraw in 2021, the singer shared his secret of having boundless stamina and endurance.
He said that the biggest key is diet. He doesn’t eat too much and doesn’t eat bad things only once in a while when he wants to have fun. He also added that exercise is also important but diet is 90 percent of the game.
