Victoria Beckham has broken her silence—carefully—on the widely discussed rift involving her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, offering a restrained response in a recent conversation with WSJ Magazine.
During the interview, the 51-year-old designer was prompted to comment on the rumored distance between Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham family. While she acknowledged the situation, she notably avoided mentioning him directly, choosing instead to speak in broader terms about motherhood and family.
“We love our children deeply,” she said. “We’ve always done everything we can to be the best parents possible. For more than three decades in the spotlight, our priority has always been protecting and caring for our kids.”
She then drew a clear boundary, signaling she wouldn’t elaborate further: “That’s all I’m going to say.”
Reports suggest tensions between Brooklyn and his parents, David Beckham and Victoria, began intensifying in early 2026. Around that time, Brooklyn reportedly shared a series of pointed remarks online, accusing his family of being overly controlling and claiming they had interfered in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
One particularly controversial claim centered on his wedding day, where he alleged an uncomfortable moment involving his mother that left him feeling deeply embarrassed.
