Today’s article is about one young married couple who have just recently purchased an apartment which is in the building dating back to 1936. Instead of a new and modern apartment, their choice fell on such an old one. They planned to give it the interior they have always been dreaming of.

The couple had a limited budget so it was essential for them to give it an inexpensive but a modern renovation. A light color was chosen for the walls of the hallway. Near the entrance one can see a storage system. It also features a built-in seat and open hooks for outerwear.

Behind the sliding doors there is a wardrobe and a utility section with a washing machine. One can see a large mirror here opposite the front door.

The kitchen floor is laid out with the same material that was used in the hallway. On the right side of the entrance, a corner set with built-in household appliances was installed. The upper tier was specially extended all the way in order to enlarge the space. The lower facades imitate a wooden surface, and the upper ones are made in white. What concerns the backsplash, it has white tiles with a black dynamic pattern.

To the left of the entrance to the bedroom, a spacious storage system was installed up to the ceiling. They chose facades in a classic white design. A double bed with roll-out drawers appeared in the center of the room. A decision was made to make the wall behind the bed an accent one. They covered it with dark wallpaper with a suede texture.

The previous residents had combined the bathroom, yet the owners left everything as it was. Porcelain tiles were on the floor but for the walls they used white tiles, bright accent tiles and blue moisture-resistant paint.
