These creatures were first discovered in 1983 in China. Then 20 years later an ecologist named Li Weidong noticed and photographed them.

The ecologist claims that their number has decreased since the 80s.

The ecologist and his group of volunteers were very fond of these fluffy rabbits and called them «Magic Rabbits». They thought that their number had decreased due to global warming.
