“The legendary actor Matthew Perry has sadly passed away”. Here are some of his latest Instagram posts, shared just a few days before the fatal event
Matthew Perry’s foray into the entertainment industry commenced during his early years as a child actor. At the age of 15, he made the decision to emulate his father’s career path and explore acting by relocating to Los Angeles. Perry’s inaugural sitcom role came on the show initially titled “Second Chance,” later renamed “Boys Will Be Boys.” Subsequently, he secured roles in popular series such as “Charles in Charge” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.” By 1988, Perry had already marked his debut on the silver screen in the film “A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon,” where he shared the screen with the late River Phoenix.
Just six days prior to his apparent drowning, actor Matthew Perry shared a photo on his Instagram account, showing him in a hot tub. As reported by The Los Angeles Times, police were called to the actor’s residence in the Los Angeles area at
approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, where they discovered him unresponsive in the hot tub. Matthew Perry was 54 years old at the time. Anonymous sources, cited by the Times, did not specify a cause of death, but they noted that no foul play was suspected. The investigation into Perry’s passing is currently underway. In an Instagram post from October 23, Perry can be seen relaxing in a hot tub, wearing headphones and gazing at the horizon. The caption for the post read, “Oh, so the warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”
