The customer of this project is a young teacher who has recently acquired his own apartment which, however, was without renovation. That is why no one before gave a second thought to buy it. Oddly enough, the man chose for himself not a new building, but an old one. The house was commissioned in the early 60s as an experimental house, so it has fairly thick walls and high ceilings.
When the time came to choose an interior style, the new owner surprised the design team. He chose not the now fashionable minimalism or loft, but bright scandi! The interior turned out to be even brighter in the bedroom. An entire wall behind the bed became an accent wall and the room boasted other vibrant elements as well painted in red, yellow, green and blue.
Next to the bed there is a glass partition. In the evenings, it becomes even cozier here thanks to well-thought-out lighting. It was time to redo the hallway. Now the space looks a little less “typical” thanks to the unusual color scheme. Yellow dominated both here and in the bathroom.
The walls were also repainted, the curtains were replaced and old furniture was replaced by new in the living room. The owner did everything on a budget so the remodeling of the living room turned out to be purely cosmetic. Yet, this doesn’t deny the fact that it acquired a much fresher look and is now pleasant-to-the-eye.
