It was at the age of 13 that Bethany had a terrible accident which changed her life to the roots. The poor girl lost her arm due to a shark attack. No one predicted a bright future for her assuming that she would never live her life to the fullest and her existence would be fraught with challenges and sufferings.
However, to everyone’s great surprise, she even became a professional surfer and a mother of many children proving her resilience and strong will power. She wasted no time in returning to her passion – surfing and continued pursuing her dreams of becoming a champion.
One may say that she owes her big success not only to her determination and hard work, but also her family’s unwavering support and dedication. She flatly refused to rely on a prosthetic with flexible joints, and found a different solution to it. It took her years to regain the control of her body.
Moreover, she found love and got married in Hawaii in 2013. Bethany often shares joint family photos and delights her followers. However surprising it may seem, the couple welcomed four kids who extended their family bringing nothing but joy and happiness.
