Jelly Roll discusses his longtime friendship with The Rock🤗🧐

Roll has announced that he would be performing at CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee. The singer has opened up about his long-time friendship with Dwayne Johnson.

In an interview with ET, the 38-year-old revealed that the requests for tickets to CMA Fest have been pouring in and they have even come from The Rock.

He confirmed that the actor has been his “buddy” for years and revealed that he has been his fan even before all the accolades and fame.

Speaking to ET, the singer says that the Rock has been listening to him even before when he had 30,000 people listening to Jelly Roll. He continued to say that the Rock has been his fan for a long time and has told him that his music has helped him during a certain time in his life. Roll revealed that Dwayne was the first one to congratulate him on his performance at Ryman [Auditorium], which is a Nashville institution.

The singer has released his first country album, titled Whitsitt Chapel, and revealed that the Rock has supported him in promoting the album as he shared it with his followers on Instagram.

Roll has now set his eyes on Hollywood and he hopes that the actor would join him onstage at one of his future performances.

He revealed that he told the actor about his plans of losing weight and joining acting chops and added that he wants the Rock to sing a song with him.

The singer has always been open about his life as he has had drug addiction problems as well as time in jail. There will be a new documentary about his life and fans can get a little more perspective about the singer.
