Today’s intriguing story is about Sarah who shared her story with us and blew up the network. She worked as a waitress, a job whose value is still known to far not everyone. To put it mildly, this wasn’t considered the most rewarding job.

One day, she was surprised to welcome a strange man and his son who looked pale and desperate. They ordered the house special. While the man was eating with great pleasure, the boy was just staring at it and couldn’t even take a bite.

The apple pie with ice-cream looked untouched and the waitress rushed to approach the boy and ask whether he liked it or not. As soon as the girl asked him, he grew blushed. Instead of him, it was his father who replied claiming that he simply wasn’t really hungry.

To know more, Sarah advised them to come the next day too since there were to serve the special meal. The man promised to come again thanking her for her generosity and concern. Later, he happened to see her again.

The man approached to the waitress and what he said left the girl speechless. He admitted that his son had cancer and was receiving chemotherapy, that is why he had no appetite. He added that he was going to shave his head so he didn’t feel the progressing cancer while noticing his hair fall out.

The next day, the waitress was waiting for those two shaved-headed men. Believe it or not, she shaved her head too. She exclaimed that she wanted to «join the club» which made the little guy laugh and his father be proud of the kind waitress.

Later, the man approached her and thanked for sacrificing her hair viewing it as a heartwarming gesture. Soon, the girl and the boy became best friends. The waitress never ceased to show her unwavering support.
