This is great: a beautiful dog has been missing for over 4 years, but then reunited with the family

The most awaited reunion happened in this family.

There is nothing better than a moment of reunion with your precious dog.

They have been waiting 4 years for a psychological reunion with their beloved German Shepherd dog Sheba, who was taken away earlier, in a family reunion in Baytown, Texas.

Sheba owner Stephanie Moore Malmström told Daily Paws: “It’s like she never left. We are very lucky and we are also happy that Sheba is back.”

Earlier, in January 2018, Sheba suddenly disappeared while her family members were meeting with a neighbor. When the family returned home and did not find Sheba going down to the lawn or answering the phone, they began to understand that something was wrong.

After several hours of searching without finding Sheba, family members examined the security footage and determined that the pet had indeed been kidnapped. The family reported the theft of the dog to a silicon chip manufacturing organization and waited, as time went on they became increasingly hopeless that their dog Sheba would return home.

Moore Malmstrom was shocked to see a missed phone call, as well as two messages in August this year saying that Sheba the dog had been identified.

Moore Malmstrom initially believed it was a “scam” and also believed they were capitalizing on her love for her missing pet. However, she called a missed number, an animal control police officer, telling her that he did find her kidnapped dog – 600 miles away, in an area called Borger.

Moore Malmstrom is so excited but still hesitating she asks for face to toe photos of Sheba as well as anything else to help her identify the right Sheba.

Moore Malmstrom and her husband were still unsure if it was Sheba until they FaceTimed Harper the next day and remembered that they had given Sheba an identification tattoo. Moore Malmstrom “Then declared, ‘It’s Sheba! You have my favorite dog – you have my infant! I’m ready to get in the cars and the truck and leave”.

Her family still had to wait another week for the volunteer organization to deliver the house to Sheba, as the animal was 12 hours away.
