It goes without saying that the alteration of furniture is not only a praiseworthy act toward the protection of the nature, but also captivating art of transforming things. Sometimes, people give up on old and outdated things rather quickly having no idea that they can serve much longer.

Today’s article is about one chest-of-drawers the condition of which left a lot to be desired. It dated back to the 1970s and didn’t look modern and stylish. First of all, the high-gloss varnish was removed and all the flaws and defects were eliminated. The surface was coated with chalk furniture paint, finishing the process with a matte vanish.

There were two ways of transforming the drawer. The first one featured white lines which made it a nice piece of furniture, the other one was painted with several colors which was an interesting way of making it serviceable too.
