This kind and caring animal lover built a private home for all the dogs he rescued and cared for

This woman erected a small mansion to accommodate dogs in the best conditions.

Some generous people, like Susie Elliott, are willing to spend time and money helping animals in need. A resident of Wharton (Texas, USA) built a small private house to accommodate dogs in the best conditions.

While an Australian couple has turned their property into a sanctuary where older dogs live out their last days in the world, Susie Elliott has built a “stray dog mansion” in her own home. A 63-year-old American rescues dogs and takes them into her home until she finds loving new homes for them.

To make their vacation the best it could be, and so they could use their own space to relax, she pocketed $400 (or just under €350). After 3 months of operation, the Hound Dog Hotel has opened its doors to 16 animals, reports the Mirror.

The generous lady undertook the design of the building. Her husband David was a manual laborer. The Hound Dog Hotel turns out to be a real palace for their kids.

In addition to 2 floors, lamps, stained-glass windows, a balcony and a ramp for the elderly to enter, the builders took care of finishing the walls and installing comfortable pillows.

The tinted windows alone cost $100 (about €86) and the floor costs $50 (about €43). The rest of the budget was spent on lighting, decor and furniture.

Four-legged residents benefit from a comfortable home where they can feel completely at ease. Having passed difficult life trials, they taste well-deserved happiness. Their benefactors pamper them every day.
