The 50-year-old actress visited Samlot Secondary School in the Battambang province, where she met with students and staff. During the visit, she observed classes and followed the progress of a dormitory being built for the ученики. The trip was officially acknowledged by Cambodia’s Ministry of Education.
Her look matched the tone of the visit.
Jolie stepped out in a white top, loose trousers, and sunglasses—nothing dramatic, nothing staged. It was a quiet, grounded appearance that stood in sharp contrast to the image many associate with her.
But Cambodia is not just another destination for her.
She has long described the country as a second home. It was there, back in 2000, during the filming of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, that her connection began.
